Tag RFID HID identiFUEL Disc

The HID identiFUEL Disc tags have been developed for installation in the fuel inlets of industrial vehicles, with the aim of providing wireless vehicle identification and fuel type information when used in conjunction with a corresponding Fuel Management System (FMS).

These devices are programmed to store vehicle fueling data, with the purpose of preventing fuel contamination and incidents such as accidental gasoline-diesel mix-ups. The identiFUEL vehicle tags are designed to withstand the typical conditions encountered when installed in commercial fleets, consumer vehicles, or construction vehicles, and they are both water and fuel resistant.

Product description identiFUEL Disc

The identiFUEL Disc operates at a frequency of 125 kHz and utilizes a HITAG S chip with a 256-bit EEPROM memory. The maximum reading distance is 80 mm, using the HBN903 nozzle unit.

The tag dimensions are 30 × 0.5 mm, and the casing is made of 3M Scotchcal 3650 Vinyl material. Additionally, they weigh 0.4g and have an IP68 protection rating, ensuring their resistance to water. These tags can operate within a temperature range from -40°C to +120°C.

They feature an anti-tampering design, meaning that if the tag is removed after installation, it will be automatically destroyed, preventing the possibility of tag interchange between different vehicles. This additional protection system significantly enhances the overall robustness of the system.
