RFID Tag HID identiFUEL Heavy

The HID identiFUEL Heavy tags have been designed to be mounted on the fuel inlets of industrial vehicles, in order to wirelessly identify the vehicle and the type of required fuel when used with a corresponding Fuel Management System (FMS).

These tags are programmed to store the vehicle's fuel requirements to prevent fuel contamination and avoid incidents such as accidental mixing of gasoline with diesel. The identiFUEL vehicle tags are water and fuel-resistant, designed to withstand typical conditions when mounted on consumer and commercial fleet vehicles or construction vehicles.

Product description identiFUEL Heavy

The identiFUEL Heavy tags operate at a frequency of 125 kHz and use a HITAG S chip with a 256-bit EEPROM memory. The reading distance is up to 3.9 inches (100 mm) with the HBN903 nozzle unit.

The dimensions are 37.8 x 28.5 x 20.0mm, and they can be mounted using stickers or adhesive. The housing material is PA6, they weigh 8g, and they are water-resistant with an IP68 protection rating. They can operate within a temperature range of -25°C to +60°C.

They feature an anti-tamper mechanical design. If the tag is removed after installation, it is immediately destroyed, preventing the interchange of tags between vehicles and making the system much more robust.
