RFID Tag HID identiFUEL Wing

The identiFUEL Wing tags have been specifically designed for installation on the fuel inlets of industrial vehicles, with the purpose of enabling wireless vehicle identification and the identification of the required fuel type when used together with a corresponding Fuel Management System (FMS).

These tags have been programmed to store the vehicle's fuel requirements in order to prevent contamination and incidents, such as the accidental mixing of gasoline and diesel. The identiFUEL tags for vehicles are characterized by their resistance to both water and fuel and are designed to withstand typical conditions when mounted on fleet and commercial vehicles, as well as on construction vehicles.

Product description identiFUEL Wing

The identiFUEL Wings operate at a frequency of 125 kHz and use a HITAG S type chip, which incorporates a 256-bit EEPROM memory. The reading distance of these tags reaches up to 100 mm when using the HBN903 nozzle unit.

They have dimensions of 25 × 25.8 × 11.2 mm and can be attached using stickers or adhesive. The material used for the casing is PA6, with a weight of 4.7g, and they have excellent water resistance, reaching an IP68 protection rating. Additionally, these tags can function in a temperature range of -25° to +60° C.

They are equipped with an anti-tampering mechanical design; the tag will be automatically destroyed when an attempt is made to remove it, preventing the exchange of tags between different vehicles and providing the system with greater robustness.
