RFID Tag HID identiFUEL Block

The identiFUEL Block tags have been developed to be installed in the fuel inlets of industrial vehicles, with the purpose of providing wireless vehicle identification and the required fuel type when used in conjunction with a corresponding Fuel Management System (FMS).

These devices are configured to store the vehicle's fuel requirements, thus preventing fuel contamination and incidents such as accidental mixing of gasoline and diesel. The identiFUEL tags are waterproof and fuel-resistant, designed to withstand typical conditions when installed in commercial and fleet vehicles, as well as construction vehicles.

Product description identiFUEL Block

The identiFUEL Block operates at a frequency of 125 kHz and uses a HITAG S chip with a 256-bit EEPROM. The effective reading distance reaches up to 100 mm when using the HBN903 nozzle unit.

The physical dimensions of the tags are 52 × 30 × 14.5 mm, and the housing is made of ABS, weighing 29g. Additionally, they are rated with an IP67 water resistance index. They can function within a temperature range of -25°C to +80°C.

A notable feature of these devices is their anti-tamper design. If the tag is removed after installation, it is automatically destroyed, preventing the possibility of exchanging tags between different vehicles, significantly enhancing the system's robustness.
