RFID Metal Tag Omni-ID Exo 800

The Omni-ID Exo 800 is a long-range passive UHF RFID tag with a rugged housing capable of reading over metallic surfaces without affecting its performance. It is ideal for tracking manufacturing containers, logistics, supply chain, and other industrial environments, both indoors and outdoors. With its compact size and high durability, the Exo 800 is an excellent choice for a wide range of RFID solutions.

The type of chip used is the Impinj Monza 4QT, with a 128-bit memory for EPC and 512 bits for the user. Additionally, it has a unique identification (TID) of 48 bits.

Product Description EXO 800

Omni OID's Exo 800 uses the EPC Class 1 Gen2v2 protocol, with a frequency range of 860 to 930 MHz (GS). The reading range of a fixed reader reaches up to 8 meters (on metal) and up to 6 meters (outside metal), while for a portable reader it reaches up to 4 meters (on metal) and up to 3 meters (outside metal).

Physical specifications include a gray ABS rigid plastic case and a size of 110 x 25 x 12,85 mm (4.33 x 0.98 x 0.51in), with a weight of 26g. The tag can be attached mechanically, with cable or with optional premium foam.

It has an operating temperature range of -40 °C to 85 °C, and a survivability of -40 °C to 65 °C, as well as an IP68 rating, which means it is waterproof and dustproof. Also, it has tolerance to shocks and vibrations according to the MIL-STD-810G standard, and can withstand impacts of 10 kg from a height of 1 meter.
