The HID Global® RFID Seal Tag edTamper UHF tags are a high-tech solution designed to ensure the security and integrity of a wide variety of sealed contents, from industrial containers to retail merchandise. Using a high-capacity UCODE G2iM+ chip, these tags offer a user memory of 112 bits, along with 256 bits for the Electronic Product Code (EPC) and 96 bits for the Tag Identifier (TID). This means that they are not only exceptionally secure but also highly customizable, allowing for a wide range of applications, from asset tracking to hazardous waste management.

Versatility in mounting is another advantage; thanks to the integrated cable loop, the tags can be attached to any material, from industrial canvas bags to hazardous waste containers.

HID's edTamper operates in a global frequency range of 860-960 MHz, and these tags offer a reading distance of up to 2 meters, facilitating the quick identification and localization of sealed items in large or complex environments. Their robust design includes a PC/ABS housing material that can withstand extreme temperatures, from -25°C to +70°C, making them ideal for use in various environmental conditions.

These tags are compatible with the UHF EPC Class 1 Gen 2 and ISO 18000-6C standards, ensuring seamless integration into most existing RFID systems.
