RFID Tag HID Glass Unique
The Glass Unique tags from HID offer an excellent combination of size and functionality for the identification of tools, devices, medical utensils, and other objects. These tags can be inserted into various materials acting as a casing, ensuring complete water resistance according to the IP68 certification. Moreover, they are capable of resisting chemical substances absorption and maintaining their stability against temperature changes.
The glass coating ensures consistent tag performance, even in adverse situations. The properties of glass protect the electronic components from contact with harmful chemicals, maintain label legibility even when submerged in liquids, and offer excellent stability against thermal changes.
Product description RFID Tag HID Glass Unique
The Glass Unique operates at the LF frequency of 127 kHz (12 mm), 125 kHz (22 mm), or 131 kHz (13 mm). They are made with Bioglass and are available in three very small size options: 12 mm with a diameter of 2.1 mm, 21.7 mm with a diameter of 4 mm, and 13.3 mm with a diameter of 3 mm.
These tags can operate over a wide temperature range, from -25°C to +85°C. Additionally, they are resistant to exposure to alcohol, 25% ammonium chloride, fuel B, 10% HCL, and seawater. They comply with the EN 60079-0:2009, EN 60079-11:2007, and EN 60079-26:2007 regulations.
