RFID Tag HID EXO 2000

The Exo 2000 by Omni-ID is an innovative RFID tag designed to withstand the most rigorous and extreme conditions. This product offers a wide and long reading range anywhere in the world, making it perfectly suited for heavy-duty industrial and high-resistance environments where impact is common.

This tag is particularly suitable for outdoor applications such as container tracking, cargo monitoring, defense asset management, and other adverse industrial environments. Thanks to the options of standard mechanical fastening or high-quality foam, the tag can be securely and reliably installed on any surface. It incorporates a powerful Impinj M730 chip capable of storing up to 128 bits of memory for the EPC.

The design of the Exo 2000 is made with a robust blend of PC ABS, making it highly resistant to impacts and high temperatures. Additionally, it has an IP68 rating, guaranteeing protection against dust and immersion in water. Utilizing a frequency range of 860 to 960 MHz (global), the Exo 2000 uses the EPC Class 1 Gen2v2 protocol for its communication. It has a reading range of up to 20 meters on fixed readers and 9 meters on handheld readers.

This rugged tag can withstand operating temperatures from -40°C to +85°C and a maximum exposure of up to 100°C. Additionally, it can withstand an impact of 25 kg from a height of 1 meter.
