RFID Tag HID Nail

HID Global's RFID Nail tags provide the perfect solution for easily and effectively identifying wood and other solid materials. They stand out due to their exceptional durability, ensuring reliable performance in challenging environments characterized by moisture, vibrations, and impacts.

These tags are housed in a sturdy fiberglass casing that protects the embedded electronic components during installation and use, while their nail-like design ensures secure attachment. Additionally, the standard drill hole allows for easy mounting of the Nail Tag transponder on dense materials.

The Nail tags incorporate the FDX-B BDE chip, which operates at a 125kHz LF frequency and has dimensions of Ø 4 x 35.5 mm. Their installation method using a hammer simplifies mounting on materials such as wood. The casing is constructed from polyamide and fiberglass in black color, providing a discreet and durable appearance to the device.

They are capable of withstanding exposure to water according to the IP67 standard, at a temperature of 68°F (20°C) for one hour, as well as vibrations (in accordance with IEC 68.2.6) and shocks (according to IEC 68.2.29) in adverse conditions. Thermally, they can operate and store within a wide range, from -25°C to +85°C.
