The MuTRAK RFID tags from HID Global have been specifically designed to meet particular requirements in terms of size, robustness, and reading performance. These tags stand out for their innovation and efficiency. The MuTRAK design makes it one of the smallest and most durable encapsulated RAIN RFID (UHF) tags available in the market.

But it's not just their size that is impressive; their durability is equally remarkable. These tags can withstand high temperatures, water exposure, chemicals, and impacts. They can even endure rigorous industrial processes such as injection molding or industrial washing.

The ultra-compact nature of the MuTRAK tag facilitates its integration into RFID applications that require discreet placement of lightweight and small tags. Despite their reduced size, these tags offer sustainable and cost-effective performance, making them ideal for a variety of applications.

 

Product description RFID Tag HID Mutrak

In technical terms, the MuTRAK tag operates at a frequency of 860-960 MHz, allowing it to be used globally. It is equipped with an M730 chip and has a 128-bit EPC memory. The tag can be read from a distance of up to 10 cm. Physically, the tag measures 7 x 7 mm and has a thickness of 1.4 mm. Its design allows it to be sewn into hems or pockets, or heat-sealed under a patch for textile applications. It can also be adhered with glue or injection-molded for other applications.

Regarding thermal specifications, the tag can be stored and operated at temperatures ranging from -40°C to 85°C, and can withstand peaks of up to 200°C. It complies with UHF EPC Class 1 Gen 2 and ISO 18000-63 standards.
