RFID Metal Tag Confidex Ironside Slim

The Confidex Ironside Slim RFID tags have been designed to be applied on metal materials, although they also work on any type of surface. We can apply this tag on curved surfaces without affecting its use.

This tag is perfect for solutions such as asset tracking, product tracking and control, etc., thanks to its rugged design and high performance. It incorporates an NXP UCODE 8 chip and a 128-bit memory configuration for EPC and 96 bits for TID. In addition, each tag contains a unique 96-bit EPC number. The reading range of the device varies depending on the surface it is on: up to 10 meters on metal and up to 7 meters on plastic.

Product description RFID Metal Tag Confidex Ironside Slim

Confidex Ironside Slim RFID tags are designed to comply with EPCGlobal Class1 Gen2 and ISO 18000-6C air interface protocols. Its operating frequency is global, covering a range of 865 to 928 MHz, making it a highly compatible and efficient product in different regions.

Regarding the mechanical specifications, the top surface of the device is made of aluminum with an anti-corrosion coating, while the back is made of stainless steel. The device weighs 68 grams and its dimensions are 108 x 50.8 x 3.7 mm. It has an environmental resistance that allows it to operate in a temperature range of -35°C to +85°C, withstanding temperature spikes of up to +130°C for 10 minutes. The ambient temperature in which it can operate ranges from -35°C to +85°C. It has an IP68 water resistance rating, having been tested for 5 hours submerged at a depth of 1 meter.
