NFC Tag On Metal Smartrac Bullseye NXP NTAG 213

The new Smartrac Bullseye NFC tags have been specifically designed to work with metallic objects. They offer optimal performance on all types of metallic surfaces that require identification or interaction, such as metal parts, tools, machines, spare parts, and even household items.

This type of tag has been developed with a ferrite base that generates an inductive field in the reader, preventing energy loss in the form of heat on the metal surface.

The NFC tag is equipped with the NTAG213 integrated circuit from NXP. This chip has a user memory of 144 bytes and mirror functionality, allowing for encoded data retrieval and unique identification of these readings.

RFID Metal Tag Omni-Id Exo 600

The Exo 600 is made of rigid ABS plastic, measures 80 x 15 x 12.5mm and weighs 12.5 grams. It can be fixed mechanically with rivets or a cable tie, or by means of foam adhesive. It uses the EPC Class 1 Gen2v2 protocol and operates in a frequency range of 860 to 930 MHz. Its read range is up to 6 meters in metal and up to 4 meters outside of it, when using a fixed reader. If a portable reader is used, its reading range on metal is up to 3 meters. It is designed to withstand extreme temperatures, with an operating range of -40°C to +85°C.
