Smartrac CATTLE EAR TAG
Eartrace RFID Animal Identification Eartags is a high quality Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) device manufactured by Avery Dennison. This device is designed to monitor and track animals, particularly cattle and sheep, to improve livestock management and traceability in the food chain.
The device consists of a small, durable tag that is attached to the animal's ear. The tag contains an RFID chip and an antenna that allow communication with an RFID reader. The tag is resistant to water, extreme temperatures, and harsh handling conditions, ensuring its long-term durability. RFID technology allows the unique identification of each animal through a unique identification number found on the tag. This makes it easy to individually identify and track each animal, enabling better livestock health management and greater accuracy in inventory and supply chain management.
The Eartrace incorporates the Impinj Monza R6-P chip that works with the UHF 860 - 960 MHz frequency and an EPC memory of 128 bits and 32 user memory. It is a user-friendly device and can be installed quickly. The tag can be applied manually with a standard tag applicator, reducing application time and minimizing animal discomfort. The device is also easily readable from up to 6 meters away, making it easy to collect animal identification data.
Using the Earthrace Flag also helps reduce misidentification and livestock management costs by providing a low-cost, easy-to-use tracking solution. In addition, Avery Dennison's RFID tracking solution can also be integrated with other livestock management systems, enabling better real-time livestock data collection and analysis.
All available models of this tag can be stored within the temperature range of -40 °C to 90 °C, and the operating temperature range is from -25 °C to 85 °C.
