The HID IronTag 206F tags have been meticulously designed to overcome the challenges that metallic surfaces pose for many RFID devices. They represent a significant advancement in tracking metallic objects, a task that was previously a major challenge for RFID technology.

Originally designed to track aircraft parts, the HID IronTag 206F are built to last. The IronTag 206F operate at frequencies of 865-868 MHz and 902-928 MHz, in line with ETSI and FCC regulations, respectively. They incorporate a Monza X chip and have a memory capacity of 8192 bits. Made of PPS and measuring 31 x 31 x 6.9 mm, they weigh 13 grams. Their IP67 rating makes them water-resistant, and they can operate in environments from -40° to +85° C. Additionally, they are immune to damage from oils, saltwater, ultraviolet rays, and high-pressure and temperature washes.

Though built to be durable, they do not compromise on efficiency. They have an impressive read capability with a range of up to 2 meters, and thanks to their 8192 bits of user memory, they offer extensive storage capacity. Their design allows them to be attached to any metallic surface with industrial adhesives, ensuring versatility.
