The reading range in ETSI environments is up to 7 meters on metal surfaces, up to 4 meters on plastic surfaces, and up to 4 meters in liquids. In FCC environments, reading ranges are up to 7 meters on metal, up to 8 meters on plastic, and up to 2 meters in liquids.

The tag operates in the ETSI frequencies from 865 to 869 MHz and in the FCC frequencies from 902 to 928 MHz.
