RFID Reader DS9908R-HD for Labs Zebra

The DS9908R-HD portable RFID reader combines a barcode scanner with an RFID reader to offer optimal performance both in laboratories for sample control, in hospitals for managing patient admissions and exits, or in pharmacies for stocks and drug traceability. Its design allows for both handheld and hands-free scanning.

It combines a high-resolution sensor with Zebra PRZM Intelligent Imaging technology that gives it superior performance over competitive products, being able to even read barcodes that are not perfectly printed, are damaged, or have glare that may hinder readability.

Product Description DS9908R-HD

The Zebra DS9908R-HD reader for laboratories offers a hybrid system for barcode and UHF RFID reading and writing, making it an ideal reader for traceability of serial numbers, expiration dates, and other crucial data in blood processing.

Given the environment in which it is used, this reader has been tested for potential drops of up to 1.2 meters onto concrete floors, has IP45 certification, and complies with EPC Class 1 Gen2, EPC Gen2 V2, and ISO-18000-63 standards. The reader's overall dimensions are 20.3 cm x 9.9 cm x 14.6 cm, with a weight of 420 g, and its optimal temperature range is from -40.0 to 70.0°C / -40.0 to 158.0°F.
