The HID Sentry Cable RFID Tags have been specifically designed to work on insulated metal and come with a set of durable brackets that facilitate their reliable mounting on professional cables of various dimensions. These PCB-based tags feature a low-profile design, with only 2.8 mm in height, and very compact dimensions of 36 mm x 11 mm.

They are ideal for applications such as tracking insulated metal cables, rental equipment for video or film production, power generation and backup, event production, government or military sectors, and data centers.

Product description Sentry Cagle

As for the technical specifications, HID Sentry Cable tags operate at frequencies of 865-868 MHz (ETSI) and 902-928 MHz (FCC). They have an M750 chip with a 96-bit EPC and 32-bit UM memory. Their dimensions are 36.3 × 10.9 × 2.8 mm and can be mounted using adhesive or a special cable bracket.

They are especially suitable for insulated metal, made of PCB material, and have an IP68 water resistance rating. They can operate in temperatures ranging from -50°C to 85°C and comply with EPC C1G2 and ISO 18000-6C standards.
