RFID Tag HID Iron Tag 206

The HID IronTag 206 tags are leaders in RFID technology for tracking metallic items. These meticulously designed tags deliver outstanding performance on metal surfaces, where many traditional RFID tags face challenges.

With dimensions of 33.7 x 31.1 x 6.1 mm and made of PPS, they weigh 9.9 grams. These tags operate on frequencies of 865-868 MHz and 902-928 MHz, following ETSI and FCC regulations respectively. Equipped with a Monza X chip, they have a user memory capacity of 8192 bits. They stand out for their water resistance with an IP67 rating, allowing them to operate at temperatures from -40° to +85° C. Additionally, they are waterproof, can withstand high temperature and pressure washes, and withstand exposure to fuels, oils, saltwater, and ultraviolet rays.

One of the strong points of the HID IronTag 206 is its robustness in extreme conditions. These tags are suitable to withstand from exposure to chemical agents, through sudden temperature changes, to vibrations and strong impacts. Initially conceived for aircraft parts tracking, they have proven to be resistant in demanding situations, such as those found in the manufacturing and operation of machinery and vehicles.

Despite their durable and compact design, these tags do not sacrifice efficiency. They have an impressive reading capacity with a range of up to 2.5 meters. In addition to their extensive memory, they are designed to be versatile and can be attached to any metal surface using specialized adhesives.
