RFID LF Reader ASR550 Agrident

The Agrident LF RFID reader ASR550 has been designed for the identification of LF tags with a frequency of 134.2 kHz. It is compatible with HDX and FDX-B transponders and is also available in OEM format. The standard interfaces are RS232/485, and optional Bluetooth and Ethernet interfaces are available. Up to 8 antennas can be connected simultaneously.

The ASR550 has been specifically designed for continuous operation in feeding stations, scales, and sorting gates, even in the harshest conditions. Furthermore, its new antenna design significantly reduces metal and electromagnetic interference within the reading range.

This device has an IP66 protection rating, which means it offers complete protection against dust and small particles, as well as high resistance to water, including splashes, water jets, and drips.

To increase the reading distance, the APA206 antenna is available, with dimensions of 50 x 60 cm, enabling a reading capacity of up to 90 cm with the HDX transponder and up to 80 cm with the FDX-B transponder.
