RFID Temperature Sensor Smartrac Dogbone

The DogBone Sensor Temperature by Smartrac is an inlay for measuring temperature and environmental factors in very complex conditions, such as humidity in industrial environments.  Key application areas for this robust inlay also include: construction, energy sectors, healthcare, automobile industry, and the military.

Technical Specifications

This new temperature sensor by Smartrac has scope.  It can cover countless varying environments, replacing the need for active or semi-active sensors, which are not practical nor economically feasible.

Available in wet format and suitable for ETSI and FCC systems. The temperature sensor is easy in use, offering excellent performance in areas that require very precise measurements of moisture and temperature. This inlay works on dielectric materials of high and low level, such as cardboard, plastic, stone, wood and building materials. This new inlay by Smartrac that enables the precise capture of temperature and moisture of items has open the possibility for RFID to expand into new applications never before sought.
